Skills

A skill is a reusable set of instructions the AI follows for a particular kind of job: building a dashboard, writing sharper copy, wiring up auth, keeping a design accessible. Write it once and attach it whenever you need it, instead of explaining the same preferences in every prompt.

The skills library

The library​

Three tabs filter the library, each with a count:

  • All shows every skill available to you.
  • Official shows the skills WebTwizz writes and maintains, covering areas like accessibility, analytics, animation, auth, copywriting, dashboards, design systems, e-commerce, forms, landing pages, localization, SEO and Stripe payments.
  • Personal shows the skills written in your workspace. Everyone in the workspace can use them.

Use the search box to find a skill by name or description. Each card shows the skill's name, what it does and who wrote it. Click a card to read the whole skill.

Using a skill​

  • From the library, click Add to prompt on a card or in the skill's detail view. Home opens with the skill attached to the prompt box, ready for you to describe what you want.
  • From the prompt box, type /: your skills come first in that menu. Keep typing to filter, and pick one. It drops into your message as a pill. On Home, the Skills button opens the same menu.

You can attach up to 4 skills to one message. The AI applies every attached skill to what it builds in that reply.

Adding your own​

Click Add skill in the top right for three options:

  • Create with WebTwizz attaches the official skill-generator to the prompt box on Home, so the AI can write the skill with you in a new project called "Skill Workshop".
  • Write skill opens an editor. Give the skill a name, a description of what it does and when to use it, and the instructions in Markdown.
  • Upload skill imports a .md file up to 512 KB. Skills you download from the library import back exactly as they were.

A good skill is specific about the outcome you want and the mistakes to avoid, the way you'd brief a new contractor. Vague skills produce vague results.

To change a personal skill, open it and click Edit or Delete. Download saves any skill, official or personal, as a Markdown file.

Letting the AI manage them​

The AI can create, edit and delete your personal skills during a normal conversation. Tell it how you want something done "from now on" and it saves that as a skill, with a card in the chat showing what it wrote.

Deleting always asks you to confirm first, so nothing disappears without your say-so.

Official skills are read-only. The AI can read them but never change them, so an edit can't quietly break a skill you rely on.
