Getting your API key​

  1. Go to console.anthropic.com/settings/keys
  2. Click Create Key
  3. Copy the key and paste it into the modal

Advanced: default model​

Expand Advanced options to pick a default model. claude-sonnet-4-6 is used if you leave it unset.

Available options: Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Haiku 4.5.

Environment variables​

  • ANTHROPIC_API_KEY — your Anthropic API key, server-side only
  • ANTHROPIC_MODEL — the default model string (e.g. claude-sonnet-4-6)

Disconnecting​

Click Disconnect on the card to remove both variables. Your Anthropic account is untouched.
